Guest guest
Hi everyone, I wanted to see if anyone here has any experience with Dupuytren's Disease? A good fiend was recenlty diagnosed and I told him I would help do some research (don't think he has the internet). I am looking to find the various treament options (if there are various) and the best doctors. If it were clubfoot I could give him my opinion of like the top 3, but when it comes to Dupuytren's Disease I don't know who is good or not. From what I read it is a disease in the hand that has no permanent cure, there is surgical treatment, but it always comes back. Eventually it draws the fingers in like a claw like way, etc. He is young from what I've read he is only around 30, from what I read the disease is usually more servere if it develops at a young age, it usually happens after the retirement years from what I've read. He thinks his great grandfather had it later in life. I did join a yahoo group but it only had like 5 posts in 2 years and no links or files section. If you know anyone with it I would love to talk to you. My e-mail is chele323232@...
