Or as I like to say, it's not a sprint, but a marathon. Slow and steady pace will win the day! I know it's hard to stay positive, but you can do this! I was so impatient before surgery, but that drive got me to my date, and before I knew it I was 2.5 years post-op. The time has flown by, and soon your time will fly by too. Just think, by this time next year (and that's not that far away... look at how quickly we've all gotten to 2006! 2006 already!) you'll be post-op. 2006 is your year!
