Guest guest
She is 3. I know in the past when she has had a grand mal she will sleep for a couple of days, but she has been sleepy before the seizure. Adeline has myoclonic seizures daily, but they have never affected her sleep. H Payton

Guest guest
In the absence of a fatty oxidation disorder has anyone tried adding fish oil to the diet. This may hit you all as strange but the Omega-3 oils in fish oils do reduce inflammation in the brain. They are taken there by the Acetyl L-Carnitine that the body makes by upgrading the Carnitor or L- Carnitine produced by the body. There is a lot of medical research which reveals a reduction in inflammation type brain disorders on www.pubmed.com the National Institute of Health website with the use of fish oil or PUFA's polyunsaturated fatty acids. Ground flax seed can also be used. It is 55% Omega-3 oils but it also contains about 50 plant lignans that control inflammation in the body. I have used it for 4 years to control inflammation. > Adeline is having some problems, which unfortunatly don't have any answers > to them.
