Dawn Two Weeks Post-Op Check-In

Had my two week follow up this morning with my surgeon. Down 26#'s

since surgery 13 days ago, which for the second week, was an amazing

surprise. Doc gave us an all clear to fly tomarrow, so San here

we come Will be so happy to be home and no longer living out of

suitcases or hotel rooms.

Thanks to all of you for your good wishes, all have been much

appreciated... Anyone have a good suggestion for a special way to thank

a really good friend for support through all this (She is an RN and on

her own took a week off from work, staying in the hospital with me 12

hours each night and being my personal nurse - going back to sleep at

the hotel days while hubby stayed with me at the hospital) Would love

to find some little unique way of saying how much I love and appreciate

everything she did.

BTW my Medic Alert Bracelet (as per the surgeon's orders) has " No Blind

NG Tube " " No NSAIDS " and my sureons name and contact number
