antenatal education for women migrant workers

Can anyone send me links to health promotion programs designed for pregnant

women migrant workers? Topics include nutrition, exercise, fetal

development, preparation for childbirth, breastfeeding, parenting of

newborns...I'm writing a program for a college course and need to

review/evaluate other programs already in existence.

Elise: I don't think there's a lot out there specifically for migrant

women. Some resources you might be able to use:

1. " Mama Sana--Bebe Sano " , a publication of low-literacy handouts by the

National Center for Farmworker Health www.ncfh.org 512-312-2700.

2. Lots of Spanish handouts can be printed from

www.cdc.gov/spanish/mujer.htm

3. Also www.4woman.gov/faq/index/htm#16

4. March of Dimes has a course for Spanish-speaking pregnant women called

" Comenzando Bien " . They also have tons of handouts in Spanish that are

nicely done.
