Food sensitivities/reaction in mitochondrial disease?

I have severe symptoms of muscle pain, fatigue, and foggy-headedness,

each of which often occur as food reactions (to all sorts of foods),

and my doctor has said we should pursue the possibility of a

mitochondrial disorder. Is it common for people with mitochondrial

disorders to experience these symptoms as food reactions, or is this

suggestive of something else?
