Guest guest
has adopted a new 'walk'. I didnt think much of it, but the physiotherapist saw him today and commented alot on it... this has developed over about a month and a half... he used to toe walk, that has mostly stopped, but now he walks without bending his knees alot... the physio said its likely because he is keeping his heels down, but his tendons are still tight, so the knees cant bend anymore if the heels are down... he is suggesting we step up the AFO use (we slacked lately with the new baby, and him getting the chicken pox), and see if it improves... has anyone else dealt with this type of walking? do the AFO's help? anything else suggested? stretches? thanks!
