Guest guest Posted June 29, 2008 Report Share Posted June 29, 2008 Christy, All of my facial issues started with shingles; up my nose, in my mouth, on my face.... your tongue sounds like a herpes simplex (not shingles but same type of virus) ; maybe he can try a different drug. I used a couple different ones until the shingles are done. One other question - can you figure out whay is precipitating the outbreak? It sounds like a cycle and maybe you can figure out what is causing it. Stress maybe, menstruation? I know it is not an answer but it is all I can think of. Take care. Terri G. But, Ive been more stressed out than now, and nothing like this happened. It's not menstruating, I had a hysterectomy last June for endometriosis. I'm still trying to think...
