Anyone dwelt with broken bones?

Hi everyone,

Has anyone dwelt with broken bones at all? Our youngest compound broke both bones in her left arm going on three weeks ago now. Of course I contacted DR Boles right away. He told us not to worry too much because bone requires very little energy to grow so we have sat back a bit on this. Well, last night her index finger was ice cold with the rest of her fingers being warm, so I took her back in. The ortho treated me like I was an idiot, I was so frustrated. It has been three weeks and she has no sign of any new bone growth at all, he originally told us she would be in a cast for only 5 weeks. He accused her of doing too much with her arm. Trust me she has not been doing too much because it has been very painful. She sits with it propped up most of the time, much to her siblings dismay because they are having to help with her chores! LOL Anyway I was curious if anyone has had to deal with broken bones in any of their Mito kids and if they had bone growth/regeneration problems at all.
