Guest guest Posted July 7, 2008 Report Share Posted July 7, 2008 hi i cant seem to reply but i just wanted some advice i saw a new dr WHO SAID I WAS IN REMISSION BUT I DO NOT THINK I AM I STILL GET ALL THE SYTOMS I AM SHAKY I HAVE WEAK LEGS MY WALKING IS NOT TOO GOOD LATE AFTERNOON AND MY HEAD FEEKS AS IF SOMEONE IS PULLING MY HAIR AT TIMES I HAVE PROBLEMS WITH MY BOWLS AND PAINS IN MY BACK BONE I ALSO HAVE TINNITUS HE SUGGESTED CUTTING DOWN ON MY CO-CODOMOL AND INCREASING THE AMITRIPTYLINE ALSO LONG TERM TO CUT DOWN ON PREDISOLONE AND AZATHIOPRINE I KNOW AMITRIPTYLINE CAN BE USED FOR DEPRESSION BUT I AM NOT DEPRESSED THE DOSE HE HAS ASKED ME TO TAKE IS 30 MG I KNOW THE N.H.S.IS CUTTING DOWN CAN YOU PLEASE ADVICE THANKS Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
Guest guest Posted July 7, 2008 Report Share Posted July 7, 2008 I find it a little hard to believe your in remission too, I have all the same symptoms you have and a few more, and I am not in remission, in fact I just started Remicade, I'm not sure we are ever truly in remission if we have to take drugs to get through the day, maybe you should get another opinion form someone else. and I know that too is hard to do, so few know this disease very well. Hang in there and see if you can see someone else. I hate the feeling like someone is pulling my hair out feeling too.
