Hello Everyone,

I am trying to find out as much information as I can. We live in the

Bahamas, and my mom has neurosarcoidosis. Spine / Brain are

involved. We can not seem to find a doctor anywhere that can help

her.

She is on methatrexate & steroids, but is now having increased dizzy

spells and nausea that accompanies it.

Does anyone know of any doctors who specialize in this?

She has been battling this for 4 years and seems to just be getting

worse and worse.

Please Help.

Hi ,

I'm so sorry that we've not been able to get back to you. I'm in sunny California, and right now we are in possible alert to evacuate due to forest fires within a very short distance from home.

All of the mods and owners are sick with this disease also-- and right now, our other owner is dealing with the floods of the Mississippi River.

WWW.sarcoidosissharma has a list of specialists that deal with sarc. I don't know of any in the Bahamas-- but it's possible.

Our ARCHIVES and LINKS have numerous articles, if you scroll down to the bottom of this and every email from the group, you will find a section called Neurosarcoid Community and the links to that part of the group site is there for your use. You can print out the articles, take them to the docs and share with family so they understand what is going on.

Again, I apologize for not being able to get back sooner--- and am not sure how long it will be before I'm back online, especially if we do have to evacuate. (Yep, the puter is coming with me...)

Ask whatever questions, and someone will get back to you asap.

Sincerely,

Tracie
