Guest guest
Thanks for all of the thoughts and prayers while we were in the hospital. After an 8 day stay with a rotavirus, we're very glad to be home. I sure hope having seizures while he was so sick isn't an indication of mito progression I'm so far avoiding letting that issue sink in though. The good news is that Sheldon has suddenly come out with a bunch of new signs that he learned just from watching the Signing Time videos. I played it Friday for him in the Mc room and he was signing with the movie, before they even showed the sign, it was so amazing! We were in the play room and he dropped a toy lettuce head and I said 'You dropped the lettuce.' and he signed lettuce, a sign that I know no person has ever shown him, he's only seen it on the vidoes. Very good news for someone who is nonverbal and has had such trouble with signs.

Guest guest
That is so great y ou're home. I had zach learn i hope you feel better to show sheldon in sign, but we forgot by the time we got there to do it for him:) after the hour and a half wait at the pulmo office . Sheldon looked pretty good for being in the hospital for that long. I couldnt imagine trying to keep him contained on that bed for that long. I hope the seizures stop for good and that it isnt a sign of progression. Can't wait til you're up to hanging out again. Zach misses playing w/ his friend.
