Guest guest Posted July 8, 2008 Report Share Posted July 8, 2008 i had a biopsy last year at mayo in AZ. and started this month at scripps in san diego,ca. i had the slides sent to scripps and there was no sarcoid on the slides when mayo said absolutely sarcoid. come to find out that mayo lost the other slides that had the sarcoid on them. this put through another biopsy with scripps which came up undetermined. and they wouldn't send them out to be second opinion until i wrote a nasty note demanding the slides sent to my home so i can send them out to a lab. they called soon after and are sending the scripps slides to afip in washington,dc which is the best place in the country to send samples for pathology, armed forces institute of pathology, yes military, and their word is the last to M.D.'s. so we'll see what happens from here. don't go to mayo in scottsdale,AZ they never took the time to look at me or a few other people that have been given a psych diagnosis rather a physical one. they didn't want to bother digging to find the real answer. hope all is well, ken Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
