Guest guest
Hi everyone. I don't post very much but I have a question and I need some first-hand advice. My daughter Abbey is 4yrs. and she has Complex I. The oral surgeon has suggested that she needs surgery to remove excess gum tissue. (Leaving it there will cause problems when she starts losing her baby teeth). She has been under anesthesia once before (prior to her diagnosis) but she has a seizure disorder and I've read that neurological issues can become more severe after anesthesia. Has anyone dealt with this? I know we're going to have to do it eventually - does age make a difference? Thanks for any help!
Guest guest
My son has been under anesthesia several times for dental work to MRI to the muscle biopsy and he has never had a problem afterwards. However how our children respond is different on a case by case basis. I hope everything goes well for you. If your doctor thinks that is safe and you trust your doctor then trust your faith. skas00 wrote: Hi everyone. I don't post very much but I have a question and I need some first-hand advice.
