Guest guest
Also...it is true that they often freeze the fresh tissue to work with it. Because of that fact and the new research on the process, the fresh vs. frozen topic has changed a great deal. AT the UMDF conference I went to, they talked about this. Yes, they freeze all tissue but there is something very vital that happens to the Complex I if it is frozen and so they often miss it if it is frozen. I think they have to do something in the first five minutes to it to get the results for the fresh. There may be other Complexes involved but for 1, for sure I remember. Also there is great thought (although I don't think its studied and documented) among the experts that Complex I is the most common type of Mitochondrial disease, so that's why they feel its important to test Fresh. deb...mom to four great kids and wife to one amazing guy!www.LifeofLoveProject.orgwww.debwells.com
