HI , I have the same problem, even outside, if I don't have on sunglasses, then get like blinded! so I try to wear them all the time, I also get a headache. Many of here have sun sensitivity, it is one of the joys of Sarcoid! Have a great day! marla

I looked through some of the archives to see if I could find posts on

this but didn't (i may not have typed in the right search words) so I

thought I'd ask.

Lately when I go outside, if I don't wear sunglasses and I come back

inside, I can barely see for at least 15 minutes. Everything is sort

of yellow/white. I know that sun sensitivity is part of Sarcoidosis

but I haven't seen this particular symptom mentioned. Anyone?

Thanks!

Michele

Hi Michele,

Sun Sensitivity is a major part of Sarcoidosis, it seems. I have a

major problem with the sun.......when I go outside, unless I have sunglasses

on, I am completley blinded! All I can see is brightness..........nothing else.

Also, I cannot go outside in the bright sun or very hot weather without it

making me sick. I get to where I cannot breathe and get nauseated.........

Sad, but it is the old Sarc Monster. Wish we could get rid of him..............

Take care to protect your eyes.........do not be afraid to ask questions

either...........it might take a day or two sometimes, before someone answers

but we will answer. And the archives DO have lots of info.

I probably own 15-20 pairs of sunglasses and keep them all over the house and in several purses.. I usually have three pair in my purse. I can not see outside without them. The sun is so blinding to me that it gives me a headache. Since I can't see outside without them I guess I wouldn't be much help to answer this question. It is definately photo sensitivity. I'd talk to the eye specialist about it. 29:11, For I know the plans I have for you," declares the

Lord, "plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future. "If anyone would come after Me, he must deny himself" ( 16:24 NIV).Subject: sun blindnessTo: Neurosarcoidosis Date: Saturday, June 7, 2008, 2:01 PM
