Guest guest
I spent the morning at the ER today, as when i woke up the room was spinning... it got worse until i finally decided to go in... i was worried because my potassium has been low, and i know it can cause heart problems, so i wanted to be certain it wasnt that... thank goodness it wasnt, my heart is in great shape, but the doc thinks i have positional vertigo... basically whenever i move, i feel like the room is spinning.... its not awful, and not dangerous he said, just annoying... i feel like im living in a funhouse... lol! Anyone know much about it? he said it could last anywhere from a few hours to forever... they just dont know... im just glad its not my heart to be honest... i can deal with a bit of dizzyness right now... Guest guest
Do you have orthostatic hypotension? laura
Guest guest
Yes... very severe too, I take 2 meds to control it (tilt table test caused my bp to drop to 0 after less than 5 minutes unmedicated... neurologist said hed never seen it so severe)... why do you ask? the hypotension symptoms are very different from this, when my bp drops the room gets dark, and i get faint feeling... this time its feeling like the room is actually moving (or im tipping over when im not)... oddly enough my blood pressure is the highest it has ever been (122/70... normal for most, but my normal is 85/40) and didnt drop when i stood up this time...
