not sure about the gout, but peripheral neuropathy is one of my main

problems... i havent had mito confirmed yet, but my son has been

diagnosed via muscle biopsy with Complex 1 deficiency, and my initial

tests are indicating i may have the same disorder (low carnatine,

etc).

what type of neuropathy do you have?

My girls do not have gout, but they do have foot and glove peripheral

neuropathy. Funny, though, they only complain of the " typical

symptoms " on rare occasion, yet every mitochondrial disease specialist

that has evaluated them comments on the neuropathy in their written

report.
