Guest guest Posted August 9, 2008 Report Share Posted August 9, 2008 Hello everyone, Just wanted to pass along that comedian Bernie Mac has passed away due to complications of pneumonia. We all know that sarcoidosis is a mysterious disease. Doctors do not know everything...but here is what I do know. My central nervous system and lungs are full of sarcoidosis. I get pneumonia all the time and my lungs are compromised due to sarcoid. My brain has lesions on it due to sarcoid. I hate this. Here is the positive in all of it: I woke up today. I am functioning. I am walking okay. I am not dead. I hope for each of you that this week is good and that you find some way to celebrate National Sarcoidosis Awareness Day on August 29. God bless you all.
