Guest guest
We just got back from 4 wonderful days in very warm Phoenix. This was the first time we also checked Max's powerchair with the airlines. No anxiety here. What if it does not work when we get there etc etc. We also rented a wheelchair accessible van. I am happy to report all went well. We had the most wonderful relaxing time. To help Max enjoy pool time, we had purchased a WaterSaddle from the Abilitations catalog. Cost $ 91.99 product number: 009974 cust item #: 176001794 I could not find a picture on-line (with Abilitations) of the device, but I did find it at the following site for lots more money: Water Saddle $ 139 Saddle Float Float upright in the water. Made of soft material for comfort and warmth. SpecialNeedsToys.com http://www.tfhusa.com/viewproducts.asp?catID=J.Independence & subcatID=Swimming This thing is the best money we could have spent. Why does it work better than floaty rings ? The saddle has plenty of space to rest the face forward or when laying the head back. It is very light weight, dries quickly and it conforms nicely to the body. Nothing sharp here. It is like a pillow filled with tiny tiny styro foam pebbles. With summer coming up, I can highly recommend this. best regards rosy
