Guest guest
Hello All, Can anyone let me know if the Kaiser in SSF has a support group. I always see reminders for the other Kaiser's but have not seen one for SSF. Thanks, Sassy
Guest guest
Kaiser South San Francisco has a support group every 3rd Saturday at 9:30 for postop patients, and they also have one on Tuesdays at lunch time. Other folks may have information about that one. Martha > > Hello All, > > Can anyone let me know if the Kaiser in SSF has a support group. Guest guest
I do. I go almost every week. Gity is just fantastic. One of the best therapists I have ever seen and I have seen quite a few. Come there and join us if you want hope and some answers and if you are introspective. She expects you to go within to find your answers. She is also in charge of the one on Sats. Guest guest
Hi Lilka, I agree with you about Gity. She is a great source of wisdom. I used to go to the Tuesday meetings, but it has been quite a while. Could you tell me what time they start? I don't remember. Guest guest
The Saturday meetings in SSF are actually Case Management meetings for Pre Op and Post Op. The Post Op is in the morning and the Pre Op in the afternoon. They are not open to everyone. You have to be assigned to SSF to attend that particular meeting and attended orientation if you are Pre Op. You can look on our calendar and you will see all of the meetings that go on in the area. Guest guest
They start at 12:30 in the room across from the cafeteria. They go on until 2:00 PM If you come, be sure to intoduce yourself to me. Guest guest
Hi Lilka, Thanks a bunch for the info. I won't be able to make it every week, but I will definitely be going. I look forward to meeting you. All the best, Kay (in San Leandro) Open RNY Dec. 1, 2003 Lilka wrote: > They start at 12:30 in the room across from the cafeteria.
