Guest guest
Yes, Amish people do get Autism and BiPolar is at a very high rate. There are several doctors who are doing a clinical study on BiPolar with the Amish. Just because Amish and Mennonites sometimes live in the pre-historic age doesn't mean that they don't get sickness. If you would like further information I can give it and statistical info also. Sharon
Guest guest
Just a thought but since amish communitys are so far removed form the regular way of life- I bet autism is there just not reported-but since they may not vaccinate I would guess it is at a much lower rate, F Re: OFF TOPIC > I heard the Amish don't have any cases of autism? > > > > > > * > > Hi, I am also on another GFCF list and do you know that in the UK > > different food for this diet is available with a doctors > prescrip. Guest guest
Yes, I would like that!!!! I had been under the impression from another list that the Amish had lower rates of Autism, and I would like to share your info with them. Thanks! > Yes, > Amish people do get Autism and BiPolar is at a very high rate. Guest guest
Hi all, This is completely off topic, but I just wanted to ask for prayers for the family of Sopia Scuitto-Creps. If any of you have been watching the news lately, she was murdered and her body was found in Golden Gate Park. She was only 27. I was best friends with her sister and high school and even though I haven't seen either of them since, my heart is wrenching for the pain her family must be feeling. Please send out prayers for her family to get through this terrible time. Guest guest
Dear Barbara: My prayers are with the family for both victims. I am friends with and have worked with the mother of the victim found in Richmond. This must be a hard and trying time for them. Guest guest
I will also pray for this family. I lost my eldest son, 21 in a traffic accident 13 years ago. The pain has never left. I did not hear about this one at GG park. I'm in Modesto, but any time a child is murdered or dies a sensless death, it is a shock to your whole life. The only way it is survivable is to find your strength from someone higher than you."Hokoana, Barbara" wrote: Dear Sassy, It is a tragedy for everyone.
