Eleanor- when i was about 9 years old, my mother lost her wedding ring, she put out a call to all the neighbor kids that if someone found it she would give them a 5.00 bill, of course in 1964 or so that was a good sum of money, around the time my mom lost the ring she had called a family work day and we had a large hill bank between our house and the house below us and we had to weed it................well my mom was convinced the ring was somewhere there on the bank......................needless to say like the next day or so later she found the ring in the clothes hamper.....................I think she did an icecream social for all the neighbor kids for helping.................It was in my gut that you were going to find that ring, just like my mom did hers......................glad you found the ring but celebrate the love ! colleenSue wrote: Yea Eleanor! I know you are happy.... I ended up buying a larger size when Igained then now I cannot fit it on my thumb cuz it is too big. I told himthat I deserve another one so maybe someday... or maybe not. I am so happyfor you. It sounds like you "let it go" and it came back. Happy dance! Big sigh of relief!I had been trying to tell

myself it was just a piece of metal, it wasn't the love and I share, it was just a token and could be replaced. That's what my brain had been saying. My heart had been saying BS.I found it when it fell out of a shoe shelf I had been working on a few days ago. I had tied a couple of slats of wood to the bottom of two baskets that hang below an upper shelf in my closet so I could put shoes on it. Anyway, I was putting a pair of shoes back and it fell out. Not sure HOW it ended up there, and I don't care. What I do care about is where it is now - on my finger where it belongs!Tomorrow I will make take me shopping for a smaller ring to serve as a ring guard, or one of those inserts, or SOMETHING to prevent this from happening again!BIG sigh of relief!Eleanor Ostereleanor@...
