My responses are in-line. Keep in mind that I'm

working on the theory that you are trying to sort

of detox and retrain your body to kick the carb

monster to the curb. Also keep in mind that I do care about you!

Double check the bread the toast was made from.

Specifically my version of what I call

the-carbs-Eleanor-has-to-worry-about is the total

carbs minus the fiber grams. A lot of " whole

grain " bread really is NOT that good. They

sometimes add a lot of extra sweeteners, and

frequently are higher than you would think in non-fiber grams.

Carrots can be problematic due to the sugars in

them. Look them up on the glycemic index. Not

sure about the snap peas (although I do love

them). In general, things like brocolli are probably a better choice.

SUGAR, CARBS, POISON! I know, I love that stuff too, BUT...

Sounds good!

OOPS I forgot to add that I will try to replace the carrots and peas

with broccoli. Im loving shrimp and scallops these days so I will

add the broccoli to it.

Thanks Eleanor, I appreciate your input so much
