Guest guest
My responses are in-line. Keep in mind that I'm working on the theory that you are trying to sort of detox and retrain your body to kick the carb monster to the curb. Also keep in mind that I do care about you! Specifically my version of what I call the-carbs-Eleanor-has-to-worry-about is the total carbs minus the fiber grams. A lot of " whole grain " bread really is NOT that good. They sometimes add a lot of extra sweeteners, and frequently are higher than you would think in non-fiber grams. >MidAM: coffee with splenda and Half & Half > >1030: protein shake > >1200: 2-3 oz shrimp/scallops, snap peas, carrots Carrots can be problematic due to the sugars in them. Look them up on the glycemic index. Not sure about the snap peas (although I do love them). In general, things like brocolli are probably a better choice. >230: protein shake > >330(SIGH): cup of trail mix(popcorn, gold fish, raisins, peanuts) SUGAR, CARBS, POISON! I know, I love that stuff too, BUT... >Dinner will be cervece: shrimp, crab, tomatoes, lemon juice Sounds good! >800: hot protein shake > >According to fit day only: 965 calories. Guest guest
I know about the toast...it was Dr Fisher's suggestion, but I think it it what caused me to be hungrier today......ie the trai mix > >Breakfast: one egg, half slice whole grain toast > > Double check the bread the toast was made from. > Specifically my version of what I call > the-carbs-Eleanor-has-to-worry-about is the total > carbs minus the fiber grams. Guest guest
OOPS I forgot to add that I will try to replace the carrots and peas with broccoli. Im loving shrimp and scallops these days so I will add the broccoli to it. Thanks Eleanor, I appreciate your input so much > >Breakfast: one egg, half slice whole grain toast > > Double check the bread the toast was made from. > Specifically my version of what I call > the-carbs-Eleanor-has-to-worry-about is the total > carbs minus the fiber grams.
