Guest guest
Ann Congratulations for doing the right thing and not letting the nurses control the process. You go!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I have actually gone one step further. I called time out on a test before it started because everything in prep went sooooo wrong. I simply stated that we can do this some other time when more qualified staff is in attendance. And I left with Max. Youshould have seen their faces. The truth is, medical staff is not used to parents actively managing their kids healthcare. Because of the potential complications, we all have to. We cannot expect the staff to know all about mito. It is not in their every day life. It is in ours and that why it is so important what you did. If some nurses ego got bruised in the process, so what. Your child is safe. And safety comes before all else. Hopefuoly yourdoctor will see it that way too. best regards rosy, mum to max
