Hi Pam,

I had mine open. The recovery is a bit harder because the incision is longer I did have a lot of pain but then I am big baby when I comes to pain. There are many on the board who also had it open and had relatively little pain. Either open or lap the results are still worth it.

Hi

I had open, its not that bad. I had a six inch incision and was only

out of work for 4 weeks. Even with having had open, I would do it

again in a heart beat.

my date. Unfortunately he did say what I had feared. Because I carry

most of my weight up front I will probably have to have an open. That

did not make me happy but the results will be worth it. It's been so

hard these last two months being constantly hungry, but I can do it

until my surgery because I know it's for a fairly short time.
