Guest guest
This is a new one for me. Abigail was as you all know, not doing well. Post blood work her Cks were 23000. Moderate (believe it or not) for her. The odd thing was that she was consistant for Mono. when they tested for infection. Shocking? Get this no one around us had been ill. Then out of no where the next morning my oldest came down with an awful headache, fever (103.0), and side pain. They say it is the flu. ??? We all had our flu shots!!! ok, so Abigail is having crisis symptoms...however is Asymptomatice for mono. My oldest daughter has the flu. And I am thankful Abigail is well, but I still feel like I am waiting for the other shoe to drop. Any second Abigail is going to pop a 104 and we are going to be in the hospital. I know you all understand what I am trying to express. Most shocking...and yet wonderful...Abby isn't sick yet. I just...Wow...you know?! Usually she is how we all know something is going around. Thx for listening Myst
Guest guest
Myst, Lucas has influenza A despite the flu shot, I had pneumonia along with my son . I had two flu shots this year. The hospital I work at had problems with regulating the thermostat on their pharmacies refridgerator and thus did not know the effectiveness of the first shot I received. Needless to say we still ended up sick. I feel I probably had influenza which developed into pneumonia. Lucas' pediatrician also felt that probably had influenza also which turned into " walking " pneumonia. Best of luck keeping them healthy. Loriann - mom to and 12 yr old twins and Lucas 9 yrs old with mito, LCHAD, etc. --- mr_lucy wrote: > > > This is a new one for me. Abigail was as you all > know, not doing > well.
