hi joann! glad to hear you are doing so well. i'm not walking much

except inside my house. that includes some stairs too. still get

tired really quickly. but it's slowly getting better. i am still

sleeping in my recliner. too nervous to share the bed with a dh that

moves around alot in his sleep, with my drain still in. it is

slowing down some now, but not enough to remove it yet. when they

took out your drain, did thelittle hole still have stuff draining

out? how long would that last? mine is still green from the leftover

bile duct from my gallbladder. yuck. i'm afraid for them to take it

out until it really stops for good.

the trip home was long and tiring. my back and my butt were so sore

by the time i got to my house. it took another day to rest from all

those miles. i have lost 30 lbs in 3 wks. got weighed at the local

doc's office tuesday. i would never have known i had lost much if

not for weighing. i just knew i could reach my own tushie again, and

that was good news! lol no more needing help in the potty. another

step toward independence.

write again after your nice little trip. watch out for those sharks!
