Guest guest
Hi all, I have read that many babies do not cry during manipulation, stretching, and casting. However, our son Cade cries powerfully when having his foot manipulated. He goes back and forth between crying and calming somewhat as the foot is held in place and the cast is applied. I'm wondering how other people's experiences are. We just had our tenotomy and 5th cast, and Cade's foot is finally in a *somewhat* normal position (yeah!). 3 days later he still spends more time fussing or crying when awake than normal, though still sleeps fairly well (as well as a 5 1/2 week old baby does, anyhow!). How long did other people notice discomfort or fussiness after the tenotomy? Thanks for any input. -Chris Father of Cade, 8/11/05, left CF in 5th cast.
