Guest guest
Hi Ron, Glad to hear you are out of the cave. Hope you slept tight. > > Well kiddies, it's not like I really left or went anywhere, but here I am. Sorry I was " gone " so long. I wish it was because I was " working things out " , or had some other deep explaination, but truth be told... I've been sorta " hybrinating " . I've kept up on all the postings though. There's been a lot going on here... I especially want to send my condolences to Donna. A BIG hug coming your way. > > Robynn, I hope you're feeling better. Maridiana.. congrats on your surgery date! Gordy, glad to see you back from your surgery. I hope you'll be back to par real soon. I'm going to make myself crazy here soon, so a big hello to everyone. > > Anyhoo... here I am. On Wednesday I'll be heading back to Richmond for another weight check. I know I've lost since my last visit there, but not as much as I'd like. Of course, ultimately, I'd like to wake up in the morning and be below goal... but wouldn't we all. Too bad there's so much hard work to this weight loss thing... lol At my last visit, I learned of Kaiser Richmond's wonderful policy of not doing WLS on anyone over 400 pounds. So, I have a new goal... 399. I started (this time) at 529 and am now flirting with 450. Since I'm coming back from my hybrination, I'll be droppig a few extra pounds faster now. We'll just have to see how things go. > > Darn, I lost an hour while writing this note... hehehe my bed beckons me, so I must obey... Goodnight all. I'll try to post more often. > > Ron >
Guest guest
Hey, Ron - I'm so glad to hear from you again! 79 lbs down already? AWESOME! That means you're nearly 3/5 of the way there, and I know you can make it. Cathy C. > > Well kiddies, it's not like I really left or went anywhere, but here I am. Sorry I was " gone " so long. Guest guest
Hello Ron, I understand how you feel with this whole goal thing. I am at goal, but it took a lot for me tot get there. Even though I have my suregery date. I am concerned because even though I am at goal, anything can push me over into the wrong direction. Just one little item can take me over goal and it drives me crazy. I am trying something new, for me, working out 2 times a day morning and evening to see if this helps with a little more weight loss. I seem to have come to a plateau and nothing is working for me and those extra 5 lbs. that I would like to get off for safety. I know that you will be able to lose that weight very soon. You can do it!!! MaridianaBBQ Man wrote: Well kiddies, it's not like I really left or went anywhere, but here I am. Sorry I was "gone" so long.
