Indiana has had so much rain in the past weeks and I live near a river -- about 2 miles--- we have a levee but it is very likely it is going to break. It almost did in 2005 and we had it sand bagged and made it through ok but this time is different.........some areas around our town just north of us got 9 inches of rain just two days ago and it is all coming our way. We have a town meeting at 1:00 pm (it is 12:04 here now) and it is about evacuating our town.............. Our normal river crest is usually 14 to 15 ft and they are expecting a crest at 28 to 30 feet. Right now the water is up to the top of the levee and it is not supposed to crest until Monday and we are getting more rain Monday and Tuesday.
