what antibiotics is Ellie taking? also, do you have a pulmo for her? How many times has she had it?

Lots of questions...weak muscles may wellcontribute to her getting sick

here is a little info about our gilr max 5 1/2...she takes SEPTRA , also called Bactrim, every day..according to our docs the body rarely builds up resistance....depending on how well she is doing, it determines her dosage...she does take it every day....in addition she uses a nebulizer loaded with Pulmicort and Albuterol twice daily...she also uses the vest system ( airway clearance system, thevest.com) ....because of multiple pneumonias max's respiratory is compromised and continues to decline...many times she is on oxygen...at night she sleeps with a bipap...a pulse oximeter alerts us if her saturation levels drop...do you have a little pulse oximeter...

if you do not have a pulmo for Ellie yet, please go and see one. Peds are great, however, most of them do not know how much more serious pneumonia is for our kids....itis much much more serious
