We are in Olympia, Washington. Today I made a call to have a psych eval done because maybe we can get his sleep pattern regulated too. There are so many things going on with him at any given time that I just feel his frustration. However it is no excuse for being relaxed on discipline and I wish I could find one that would work longer than a couple of times. He is very good at figuring out motives and just loves to push the limits and when his attempts fail he rages to get a response. Oh how I wish we could have more than one good day in a row.

Good Luck.

Yes, we too deal with behavior issues. Out of control, I heard someone here call them Kamakazee outbursts and that fits. 5 year old with complex III. WE can tell when one is coming on because she starts talking louder and larger movements and seems to be agitated. No way to stop it. Where are you ? We are also trying to figure out what to do about the behavior.karenbrbkr wrote: Do any of you deal with behavior issues? gets out of control at times and lately seems more often. He normally talks loud from a slight hearing loss but more and more he has been yelling hitting kicking just plain defiant!!! I have taken several parenting classes but none seem to deal with kids with special needs. Sometimes these outbursts have been a prelude to him getting sick, others it's just him being 7!!! How do any of you handle the outbursts? My friend calls her daughter's 'metabolic meltdowns'. She is lucky though, she has someone at home to relieve her when her daughter gets out of control. Please ALL suggestions are welcome.Thank You, Please contact mito-owner with any problems or questions.
