Guest guest
Well...I FINALLY got my approval letter! Man that took forever! I don't have any appointments yet but at least I feel a little better that I am in their system. Now its just a wait and see for all the appointments. Its going to be a long drive to SSF but it won't be forever and I am willing to drive anywhere at this point to do what I need to do. Guest guest
Congratulations. There is a meeting/class this weekend (Saturday) at Point West. You may want to go and meet the folks from SSF. They are a trip. The commute to SSF is a pain from Sac. I have gone to taking the train, it is an easy transfer in Richmond onto Bart, then two or three blocks to the medical building. Good luck in orientation, remember the dragon in the bowl. > > Well...I FINALLY got my approval letter! Man that took forever! Guest guest
Connie, Be prepared for another wait. I got my approval letter on Nov. 18, and I didn't get the notice of my orientation appointment till early January - the orientation itself was on 2/7! Then my next appointments, with Dr. Stiles and a nutritionist, were on 3/10, so things are moving a bit faster now. And as you've probably picked up on the list, DON'T start losing your 10% now - just try to make some of the other lifestyle changes, like mild exercise or cutting out caffiene and sodas.
