Guest guest
Well, I finally got all the paperwork required by SSA for Disability App. Recieved a letter that I need to call for a phone interview and must have someone who knows about my " condition " available also. What kind of questions/info are they going to ask in this phone interview? Is this just standard procedure? Any suggestions of what I might say to help my case? I've been sick since April 2007, had to quit work in Sept 2007, and was officially diagnosed with neurosarc in October 2007. Guest guest
Here is a link that was brought to my attention from another web site Please note that I just read on the SS site about Compassionate Allowance for rare diseases. I understand SS is now getting advice from NHI (National Health Institute) who recognizes Sarcoidosis as a rare disease. I've just contacted my attorney to see if my case can be expedited. I suggest everyone else with Sarcoidosis start asking questions about this Compassionate Allowance that appears to be kept secret. http://www.socialsecurity.gov/pressoffice/pr/compassionate-allowances-0408- pr.htmHopefully, some of us, will start to receive what is owed to us. Guest guest
Rick you do not need a lawyer to apply. Please send me an email at rncc@comcast and I will send you all the info you need. I was approved in thirty days. I use to work with someone whose husband was a Federal Disability judge.
