Guest guest
My daughter got her tonsils out 2 years ago, and it was one of the best things we could have done for her. When she got sick, she really got sick and her tonsils and adnoids were so red and inflamed it was blocking her nasal passages, and she couldn't breath very well. She gets over sickness alot easier now and best of all can breath. paytons
Guest guest
I am wondering if it is better for our kids to have tonsils or not given their fragile condition. My Ellie has laryngospasm as part of her dystonia brought on by PDCD, so every time she gets a cold the larynx exasperates it in her throat and she has gotten pneumonia 3 times, her tonsils get so big and red. I feel like if the tonsils were out it wouldn't get so bad, I don't know. Does she need them for protection against getting sick? She has a fever of 103, huge red tonsils, and her larynx is squeaking from being irritated, but her pediatrician is just following the usual course, I feel she needs antibiotics now and tonsils out when possible. so I guess my question is, is it better for these kids to have tonsils or not have them? Thank you,
