We are still home, but just a couple of miles down the road they are asking for voluntary evacuations. The wind has started to change directions and now it's blowing the fire up this way-- so we'll see...

I'm trying to stay inside out of the smoke, but it's getting to the place of being way to dense-- so back on the inhalers and oxygen.

We went to breakfast this morning and had 4 firefighters walk in -- they were from So. CA and have never been in this kind of terrain fighting fires--had spent the last 40 hrs on the line, so we decided to spot their breakfasts-- they are just shaking their heads when asked about what the fire will do. It had shot right by them last night-- all around, but missed the homes they were at.

Keep us all in your thoughts and prayers-- i know that so much of the country is under weather challenges-- and I hope all are safe.

Tracie, are you still at home then, how are the fires doing, hope you don't have to evacuate. I am feeling even better today, not so heavy, a little more energy, maybe even that boost you talked about only I got a couple days later, I know I need to be careful and not do too much.
