Gordy, I remember reading about the hernia situation.

I am so grateful that your PCP was willing to get

you checked out and taken care of so quickly. I am

glad to see that you are healing and everything is

moving right along. I thank you for saying that I

helped you along this journey but I clearly remember

that when I was a preop that it was YOU who helped me.

Do you remember when I emailed you outside of the

group and you gave me the encouragement to step out

there so that I could finally connect with someone.

Well, I still thank you for that. I tend to be a

behind the scenes person (shy of sorts-I honestly am

regardless of what Robynn or might tell you-lol)

or regardless of what you saw in that Richmond support

group meeting when Robynn was having her surgery.

Pretty soon you will be up and running and back to

normal (whatever normal is for us) and you will be

dropping those pounds. You are right when you say

that you are not going to rush losing because then it

becomes like a chore and you are 99% of the time going

to be spending time being upset about the weight loss

(the lack thereof). I say just enjoy losing and your

new life. You have always kept a really positive

outlook on things and that makes you a beautiful

person. I am getting ready for my breast

lift/implants and tummy tuck that I am having on April

19th. I am really ready for what I consider my last

time going under the knife and the last piece to the

puzzle to calling my weight loss surgery process

complete. I mean it will never truly be over as we

have to constantly be aware of what we consume and

remember to exercise for our hearts to remain healthy

and our new bodies to remain fit. I will keep you

posted about that surgery but in the meanwhile, keep

up the great work and thanks again. Stay sweet.
