Tabitha,

Sorry it took me so long to write back. We've had a crazy week here.

Ava is actually my 3rd (#1 started school this week, hence my

absence from the board!) Neither of my other 2 have CF, and we don't

really have any family history, as far as we know. So needless to

say, it was a total surprise. (we didn't find out through u/s) Is

Karter pulling up to stand/cruising/walking holding hands, etc.?

By the way--love the name!! My #2 is named on, and if Ava was

a boy I was pushing for ...I seem to like " presidential " names

for boys (, , on, Kennedy!)

Just came home for a minute and decided I would check mail. Love this group by

the way.

Our Karter is in hospital. I don't know if they know what is wrong, but we are

trying to hang in there. He got chicken pox from vaccine last Friday and has

been downhill since. He has lost 4 pounds and is starting to look like a prune.

Had specialist come in today and finally got iv started. That is good. I am

trying to think of ways to keep him busy.

Wanted to let you know emailed Dr. Ponseti. and he doesn't think Karter's feet

are corrected either. He wants to see us next week. Hopefully we can get him

better so he can go.

We feel very lucky that we can go and are able since we are so close. Do you

have pictures posted in group? Would love to see Ava. Hope to be out of

Hospital by weekend so maybe talk to you then.
