Hello my name is .

I am looking forward to having WLS. I had decided on having a RNY.

But I recently started reading about DS. I am now thinking that this

may be a better for a procedure for me. I would like to

hear from other members about their reasons for choosing DS as

opposed to the other options....

I also have a few questions of my own:

I have a high BMI..is it true that the DS procedure would be a better

procedure for me ...

also are there things I can start doing now..that will help aid me

in my recovery...

Based on my research so far, I do not live in a state (Florida)

were the DS is available...So I know I may have work cut out

for me....convincing my insurance company to approve an out of state

surgeon.

I am looking forward to hearing from you....and look forward to

sharing information. I have an appoinment with a new PCP...and would

like to have an informed conversation with him regarding my options.
