Guest guest
I've seen it go both ways. Part of the problem is that as we lose weight, the estrogen and other hormones which were stored in all that fat are released, and they can totally mess with EVERYTHING, including libido. In my case, there are times when I want to jump anyone with the right plumbing, and there are times when I couldn't care less! Of course, in my case it doesn't help that I'm probably perimenopausal! I have found that it can help if I prepare ahead of time to, er, heat up my frisky. I'll take a bath and read some erotica while doing so. If I don't feel like getting all wet (that way), I do also have some gel that, when applied to the genitals, increases the blood flow, causing a warming sensation. Hubby does seem to appreciate when I take the time to warm up, since (being a man) he's generally ready to go at the drop of a nighty, or even the wink of an eye, or just breathing! It's not that I'm too tired (I have tons of energy). > > Thoughts? -- Eleanor Oster eleanor@...
