Guest guest
F.Y.I. I just returned from my 3 weeks post-op appointment with Gagner. I was informed that Dr. Gagner was no longer taking insurance for the first consultation or for the 6 month and 1 year appointments. Now you have to pay $100 for the intitial consult and then your insurance covers the surgery. Following that Gagner covers the first 2 post-op appointments. Then you start paying $100 everytime you see him. I am not sure if they fill out the insurance forms for you to be re-inbursed like the nutritionist and the psychiatrist does. You have to love insurance companies that make it such a pain for health care providers to get reinbursed that they feel it is too much of hassle to bother with them for anything other than the operation. Yet these companies are screaming that they do not need regulation. If any industry ever needed regualtion insurance companies do! I will write every politician I can find to lobby for health care regulation.
