Sheldon's in the hospital - seizures?

We brought Sheldon in to the ER Friday because he was vomiting every

20 minutes. They started an IV, with the wrong solution first and

changed it once they talked to the geneticist. He vomited 18 times

Friday but only around 8 times yesterday and 3 so far today. The

current concern is that he's actually vomiting as part of a seizure.

It often starts when he's sleeping, he'll get agitated and completely

stiffen up with his head arched back. He tries to pull out the IV and

is agitated, vomits and then becomes completely limp, dropping his

head forward. At that point he is often unresponsive, sometimes his

eyes are closed and sometimes they are open, staring to the left.

Does this sound like a seizure? We haven't started any seizure meds

yet, we're waiting for an EEG, which we can't have done until

tomorrow since it's Easter. I know plenty of you have experience with

seizures. I just think it's strange that he goes through the same

sequence of things with each episode and that he's so unresponsive

for a time period afterward. Then he seems to snap out of it.

Just thought I'd update you all and see if anyone had any experiences

like this, I've been offline since Friday so I feel out of contact.

Thanks.
