Guest guest
That could be the answer for my son too. It takes a long time for him to digest food. He had a nuclear ultrasound when he was a two months old baby and it showed that he still had milk in his stomach after more than two hours after taking it. However, none of his doctors ever told me that he suffers gastroparesis (delayed empty stomach). When discharged from NICU he was given reglan but I always tought it was for reflux which he had and they did told me about. Years later after been in several Yahoo Groups and learning from other parents about gastroparesis then I started to realize that my son suffers from it too besides the GERD (reflux). Do you know if delayed gastric motility is directly related to mito disease? I mean do most of kids with mito has gastric motility problems?
