Are there any cold medications that are safe for you heart?

Hello! We have noticed in the last few colds ot viruses that Joey

has had. That the cold meds. have really made his heart race really

fast. Around 180 to 190! He has laryngiamalacis(sp) and has since

birth. So we have had to really watch what cold meds. he takes. We

can give him Benadryl or dimatapp. Yet our last heart appointment,

they found Joey's ventracal is too large, yet still working fine.

Cold meds. really make his heart race.

He woke up this morning with signs of a cold again. Not sure what

to give him. Any help would be great.
