Guest guest
Hi Deb! I like your answer about the new eye symptoms better than the one neuro gave me. He said it could be vision, could be that the portion of her brain in charge of that eye isn't functioning right. He also thought it might have something to do with seizures. (We see a ped eye doc in May). Long visit with the neuro today. She had so many new symptoms going on. He said she is now having partial seizures. He's also thinking maybe a tethered cord because she is having such severe pain in her legs. We have MRI's scheduled for her head and spine. He did say that despite this he thinks she looks better now than she ever has and her strength seems a little better. I really love our neuro (Sophie thinks he's her boyfriend). He's always so positive and really listens and spends time with us when we see him. He's also very good at explaining things to me. He doesn't let me leave until he knows I understand everything he tells me. And he always does it in a way that NEVER makes me feel stupid. I know I can ask him anything. Sorry about that rambling I just really wanted to brag on Dr. Puri. He has been so wonderful to Sohie. My biggest complaint now is that she is on 9 medicines daily! Thank goodness for the g-tube. I'd never get that many in her by mouth. I had to make a chart so I could keep track of what medicine is due at what time. My prayers to everyone. Thanks for letting me talk.
