Guest guest
, It is cool that we get to put our faith in God. I am not a religious person but I feel I am a very spiritual person. With that said I wanted to share a personal experience I had with you. About 3 years ago I became very seriously ill. Oddly enough they never were able to determine what was wrong with me, just that I had severe shortness of breath and heart rythm problems. They were doing every test under the sun and all of the diseases they were checking for were fatal. I was scared that I wouldn't get to raise my daughter. The doctors were telling me if I lived I would probably never work again. This was devastating because I was lucky enough to have a job I loved. One night as I lay in the TCU feeling like I couldn't breath and praying harder than I ever had for God to please let me live I was suddenly overcome with a sense of warmth, safety and comfort. It was almost as if I could feel the hand of God on my shoulder. At the same moment I heard a voice telling me, "Everything is going to be ok." It was. I recovered after about 6 months and returned to work and had my precious Sophie. My point here is that sometimes in the middle of what seems to be the worst storms of our lives we just have to take a minute and stop and listen. When we listen closely we can hear God guiding us and comforting us. When we feel cold and lonely if we stop moving we can also feel his arms around us keeping us safe and warm. I can certainly empathize with you and I'm here for you if you need to talk. We can figure out what to do with our newly diagnosed babies together. You are in my prayers. Don't forget to rest and eat. needs you to be strong for him.
