Guest guest
Dear Members, I am a 58 year old retired Veterinary Surgeon living in France. I have had 3 biopsies, which have all shown ragged red fibres, blood tests all show elevated lactate, but as the CoQ10 levels are normal my neurologist thinks I have it but isn't sure. Symptoms are tremors, ataxia and muscle atrophy. Unfortunately MRIs show increasing serebellar atrophy, which has led to a positive diagnosis of OlivoPonto Cerebellar Atrophy ( OPCA ). I wonder if anyone else has had similar problems? Greetings from hot and sunny Aquitaine, France. Mike
