Guest guest
Well, yes I was surprised. Loll! shocked to be more like it. Lindsey's 8 now, but I'm sure she was not even close to being that tiny. I would have to get her records out, but I'm guessing no way! I understand that's what RSS is all about but having such a MILD RSS child like I do, it just amazes me how tiny some of your children are. I hope you all don't take that the wrong way. I'm still learning about RSS I guess! Hugs, Jennie
Guest guest
Hi guys, I was reading the exchanges between you two. Mimi, I am so happy for you that your little guy is 10 lbs. and not even five months old yet. ) Jennie, you sounded quite a bit surprised in your post that you couldn't believe he only weighed 10 lbs. I was the opposite. I was thinking, wow that is BIG! Well, if he has RSS I guess. , my son, was 17 months old and weighed 10 lbs! At that point we got him to Dr. H in New York and she diagnosed him with RSS and thanks to her, is now 24 months old and weighs 18 lbs. 6 oz. ) That is good for him, trust me! ) I just wanted to share with you two. Mimi, if your little guy is eating well by mouth, I wouldn't worry about a g tube right now. I mean, WAS and IS g tube fed, and still can't gain that well. Sounds like your guy is doing pretty good on his own in comparison. See you guys, Jodi R.
