Guest guest
Hi Jodi;-) Wonderful news!! I am so happy is doing so well! Please e-mail Dr H now with his height and weight. When Janelle started to do this (she did not walk but scooted very quickly and stood) she was burning fewer calories than is now but her weight gain started to skyrocket. It became very apparent that she had made up her nutritional deficit and was now pounding on the pounds. Janelle's pulmonary issues did not appreciate the extra calories at this point. Dr H now wants the RSS children at about a 15% weight for height. This is so they do not start to go into premature adrenarche or insulin resistance. Please watch his weight carefully at this juncture. It is so weird when you go from trying to get weight on them for so long to needing to monitor for too much weight gain. Guest guest
, Yeah, how ironic is this. Remember our phone conversation so long ago when was in dire straights? I mean, he was so bad off. ! 7 months old and only 10 lbs. He looked so sickly and fragile. I was so worried about him, and so was Dr. H when I emailed her about him. We went from a January appointment to a late October appt. Only two weeks from our first email. She was like, get him here NOW! So, he was so bad, but look at him now. So, he is really at the 50th percentile, right? I looked on the chart and that is what I come up with. Are you verifying that? So, I have emailed Dr. H, and I will see what her response is. I just don't know where to go from here. Especially with his feedins on the pump! By the way, 's repers seem to be much better, but he still breathes fast. See, that was the last thing on Dr. H's mind when she saw . I wonder what she will think now!? Jodi > Hi Jodi;-) > > Wonderful news!! I am so happy is doing so well!
